The Special Judge, PC Act cases, Solapur(Maharashtra) has sentenced Sh. Ganesh Satpute, then Constable, RPF, Kurduwadi, Solapur to undergo five years Rigorous Imprisonment with fine of Rs. 4,500/-.

CBI had registered a case on 29.04.2013 against the said accused.  It was alleged that the accused took Rs.10,000/-  from an employee of a Tour & Travel company. It was also alleged that the accused further demanded and accepted bribe of Rs.100/- per passenger per day on the railway tickets booked by the said company.

After investigation, a chargesheet was filed  against the accused on 06.08.2023. The Trial Court found the said accused guilty and convicted him.
