The Department of ECE, at  National Institute of Technology Puducherry organized an International Conference on Communication systems (ICOCS 2023) on                                             21^st and 22^nd December 2023. Dr. Aniruddha Kanhe, Assistant Professor, NITPY and               Dr. Suresh Balanethiram, Assistant Professor, NITPY are the organizers of ICOCS 2023. The conference is technically co-sponsored by Taiwan-India Joint Research Center On Artificial Intelligence National Chung Cheng University TAIWAN.

 

The conference is inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof. K Tharanikkarasu Vice chancellor Pondicherry University. The inauguration is presided over by Dr. Usha Natesan, Director In-charge, NIT Puducherry and Dr. Sundaravarathan S, Registrar NIT Puducherry, in presence Dr. Bhuvaneswari, Centre Head Pondicherry University Karaikal Campus.

 

The keynote speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. PAO ANN, Professor, TAIWAN-INDIA JOINT RESEARCH CENTER ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE National Chung Cheng University on “Smart Observer for Estimating Fishermen Work hours in Distant Water Fishries” and Dr. Chhandak Mukherjee Chargé de Rechereche CNRS, IMS Laboratory, University of Bordeaux, France.

 

The conference reviewed more than 150 papers from researchers from various prestigious institutions such as IITs, NITs, Central and State Universities, and Private Institutions.  All the papers were peer-reviewed by conference committee members and international and national reviewers, and around 54 papers were accepted for presentation during the conference papers presented in this conference will be send to Springer Lecture Notes on Electrical Engineering series.
