More than 5000 rural youth skill-trained in Maharashtra in FY 2022-23 under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana

In Maharashtra, 5977 youth from rural areas were given skill training under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) in FY 2022-23, while 2710 have been trained under this scheme till November 2023 of this financial year. 874 and 348 rural youth received training under DDU-GKY in 2020-21 and 2021-22 respectively, as per the DDU-GKY Kaushal Bharat Portal. Maharashtra has 66 active project implementing agencies and 71 skill-training centres empanelled under the scheme.
As per data received from the state, the number of candidates skilled (trained) in various districts of Maharashtra under DDU-GKY during the last three year and current year (upto Nov. 2023) are as follows:

There is no shortage of personnel providing training under DDU-GKY Training Centers.
This was stated by MoS (Rural Development) Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti in reply to an unstarred question in the Lok Sabha today.
