Inaugural function of 15th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme-2023 At YUVANIKA, Nrupathunga Road, Bengaluru on 15/12/2023 at 3.30 pm

Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports, Govt of Karnataka are jointly organizing 15th TYEP from 15th to 21st of December 2023. 220 Tribal Youths and Escorts from 09 district of Jharkand and Odisha States are participating in the 07 days long programme. It is a rare opportunity for the Tribal Youths to learn & share their experience/ views during the week long programme, in order to help themselves by getting an opportunity to compare the development, Government working at various levels, Exhibiting culture and traditions and many other such relevant things.
Hon'ble Governor of Karnataka Sh. Tawarchand Gehlot will Inaugurate by lighting the lamp on 15th Tribal Youth Exchange Program at YUVANIKA Auditorium, Nrupathunga Road, Bengaluru at 3-30.00 PM on 15/12/2023. Shri.B.Nagendra, Hon'ble Minister for Youth Empowerment and Sports, Govt. of Karnataka, Shri P.C.Mohan, Hon'ble MP, Bangalore Central Constituency, Shri. Tejasvi Surya, Hon'ble MP, Bangalore South Constituency, Shri. Rizwan Arshad, MLA Shivajinagar Bengaluru, Shri N.Manjunath Prasad, IAS, Principal Secretary, Dept. of Youth Empowerment & Sports, Shri.N.Shashi Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Govt. of Karnataka, will be taking part as chief guests gracing this occasion.
During these 07 days period all the participants have got an opportunity to visit Vidhana Soudha, ISON, Vishweshwaralah Art Galley, Metro Ride and Presentation on metro operations and visit the world famous Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium and above all a memorable and impressive visit to the CRPF Campus which enlightened them to know the opportunities to serve the nation in a detailed way in the defense Forces.
The Valedictory function will be held on 21/12/2023 at 11.00 am at Yuvanika, State Youth Centre, Nrupathunga Road, Bangalore.
In addition to the above NYKS is also organizing the following programmes:-
Kashmir Youth Exchange Programme is also scheduled from 26th to 31s December 2023 at Coorg Public School, Gonikoppa, Coorg District. Shri. Thawar Chand Gehlot, Hon'ble Governor of Karnataka has consented to Inaugurate the programme at Gonikoppa, Coorg.
15th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme from 06th to 12th of February 2024 at Mysore wherein 220 participants from 10 Districts of Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Bihar and Odisha will participate.
