Gujarat LSA, Department of Telecommunications (DoT) organized the seminar on cyber security awareness and citizen centric initiatives of DoT for students of ITI, Kuber Nagar, Ahmedabad on 05.12.2023. Total around 200 students and faculty members attended the seminar from various trades like painter, electrician, plumbing, mechanic, electronics etc.

In recent years, the rapid advancement of technology has brought about numerous benefits, but it has also exposed us to various cyber threats and vulnerabilities. It is crucial that we stay updated and well-informed about the latest developments in cyber security to protect citizen of India.

The Department of Telecom has been at the forefront of implementing various citizen centric initiative, (CEIR portal for reporting lost mobile handset, TAFCOP for know your connection) for common citizen in Sancharsathi portal.

By organizing this seminar, we aimed to create a platform for our ITI Students and faculty to learn best practices for cyber security and citizen centric initiatives of DoT.
