A glorious Platinum Jubilee celebration was organised on the occasion of completion of 70 years of Dadar Catering College that is IHM Mumbai on Friday, 1^st December 2023. The chief guests for the celebration were Ms. Annabelle Rodrigues (1985 Batch) and Dr. Nitin Shankar Nagrale (1995 Batch). The Chief guests on the occasion, unveiled the official Alumni Website of Dadar Catering College. The website, a treasure trove of memories is also a celebration of all the years Dadar Catering College has stood strong, becoming the first college in Asia to complete 70 years of teaching hospitality.

A cooking competition, "Delicacies of Christmas" was organised during the event and was judged by alumni of the college - Chef V K Iyer (1980 Batch), Chef Manoj Vasaikar (1985 Batch) and Chef Shannon Lawrence (2010 Batch). Claiming the first' position in the competition with her culinary artistry was Ms. Sharon D'Souza , the second position was captured by Ms. Maria Gomes with her delicious recipes  and the third position was taken up by Ms. Shruti Phathak for her  remarkable presentation.

Following this there was a melodious choir performance by students of the college along with several energetic dance performances.

There was also a line-up of stalls with variety of food and beverages along with handicrafts and Christmas Sweets for the enjoyment of all those gathered.
