National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Constituent College), under Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Learning, Andaman and Nicobar Island on 30.11.2023.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Usha Natesan, Director(i/c) (NIT Puducherry) and Dr. Utpal Sharma, Principal, Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Constituent College), under Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Learning, Andaman and Nicobar Island in the presence of Dr. N. Sendhil Kumar, Dean - Research and Consultancy (NIT Puducherry) and Dr. Ansuman Mahapatra, Associate Dean - Research and Consultancy (NIT Puducherry).

The Memorandum of Understanding comprises of the following:

 (a) To promote and enhance academic interest of all the HEIs (Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology under A & N Administration, constituent colleges of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Learning “NSCBIHL”), with NITPY as Mentor Institute.

(b) Handholding for Curriculum revision, implementation of all the components of NEP 2020 with Outcome Based Education System.

(c) Handhold in examination related activities- setting of outcome based education Question papers, Outcome Attainment Calculation, evaluation of answer scripts for all HEIs under Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Learning.

(d) To improve academic quality and faculty development of all the HEIs with the support of National Institute of Technology Puducherry.

(e) Exchange of information on research, teaching, learning materials and other literature relevant to their educational and research programs.

(f) To assist the faculty of Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Port Blair in enhancing their qualifications.

(g) Provide assistance in recruitment of faculties for Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Port Blair, a constituent college of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Learning.

(h) Provide assistance in developing the support infrastructure.
