Impact of PM-DevINE Scheme in North Eastern Region

Prime Minister’s Development Initiative for North East Region (PM-DevINE),was announced as a new Central Sector Scheme in the Union Budget 2022-23. The impact study of PMDevINE scheme is being taken up at an appropriate time.

Keeping in view the objectives of the scheme, eleven projects, amounting to Rs 1503.44 crore, including the seven projects announced in Budget 2022-23, have been selected for sanction in FY 2022-23 as per the list given in Annexure.

Land is a State subject and the compensation for acquisition of land is dealt by the concerned State Governments as per the relevant Acts and Rules.
