Four-laning is completed in 12.9 km and taken up in 42.86 km length, out of total approximate length of 75 km of Dimapur-Kohima section of NH-29. Out of this 42.86 km length, 28.65 km length is targeted for completion by August’2023 and the remaining length is targeted for completion by August’2025. The total expenditure incurred till date on four-laning of 42.86 km length is approximately Rs. 1215 crore. The main reasons for delay in completion are Contractor’s default and COVID-19 pandemic.
