The details of funds transferred to beneficiaries in Maharashtra under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme since its inception is as under:-

This was stated by Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar in Lok Sabha today, in reply to an unstarred question by Shri Vinayak Raut and Shri Sanjay Jadhav.

The Union Minister also stated that no application was registered for any Bangladeshi for availing benefits of the PM-KISAN scheme at Ratnagiri – Sindhudurg constituency of Maharashtra. Further, as per information received from Government of Maharashtra, a Committee was appointed under the Chairmanship of Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Kudal to investigate the matter and according to the Committee’s report no Bangladeshi has submitted any application to avail the benefits of the PM-KISAN scheme at Digas village in Kudal Tehsil, Maharashtra, further stated Shri Tomar.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), one of the largest Central Sector Schemes, is being implemented since 01^st December 2018, to supplement financial needs of the land holding farmers of the country subject to certain exclusion criteria relating to higher income status. Under the scheme, financial benefit of Rs 6000/- annually, in three equal installments, is transferred into the Aadhaar seeded bank accounts of farmers. So far, more than Rs. 2.60 lakh crore has been disbursed to over 11 crore farmer families. The PM-KISAN Scheme is applicable only to the citizens of the country only.
