Highlighting the significance of this initiative, Union Ayush Minister Sarbananda Sonowal stated that this center is the first of its kind in the country to provide integrated Ayush facilities. He emphasized that the Ministry of Ayush, in line with the Prime Minister's vision, is committed to ensuring global health, not just within the country. Sonowal further acknowledged the growing international recognition of India's traditional healing practices, with the Ayush market currently expanding to Rs 4 lakh crore.

Minister Sonowal expressed hope that the integration of Ayush therapies in Goa, a state known for tourism, would benefit both locals and tourists. He suggested that institutions under the Ministry of Ayush organize awareness camps at the village level to promote Ayush treatment methods.

Union Minister of State for Tourism, Shripad Naik, extended his gratitude to the Ministry of Ayush for introducing integrated AYUSH treatments in Goa. He mentioned that the citizens of Goa would greatly benefit from the All India Institute of Ayurveda at Pernem and the newly inaugurated Ayush services.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant highlighted that the newly inaugurated Ayush healthcare center would fulfill Ayurveda's highest goal by focusing on both preventive and therapeutic aspects of medicine. He reiterated the aim of providing high-quality and affordable healthcare services in Goa, including an outpatient department (OPD) and a Panchakarma Kendra.
