Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation is celebrating Swachhta Pakhwada, 2023 during July 01, 2023 to July 15, 2023 under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The main focus of this campaign is to encourage Jan Bhagidari & awarness about the cleanliness. All offices of the Field Operations Division of NSSO, MoSPI located in the Western Region of the Gujarat will be undertaking various activities during the Pakhwada for promoting the cleanliness and plantation of trees. A special cleanliness drive has been arranged by the Sub-regional office, Rajkot on 2^nd July’2023 in which students of the Rashtriya Shala will be sensitized about the hygienic practices. On this day tree plantation will also be done in campus of Rashtriya Shala and in the office premises of the SRO, Rajkot by Shri T I Trivedi, Assistant Director and other officials of the SRO. Similar activities are also planned at Safai Vidhyalay located in Sabarmati Ashram, Thakhateshwar Mahadev Temple, Bala Hanuman Temple and Educational Institution run by Manav Mandir Educational Trust by the offices of NSSO(FOD) located at Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Surendranagar respectively on 15^th July’2023.Various activities under the cleanliness drive is being carried out by these offices under the guidance of S K Bhanawat, DDG & Regional Head and Jayprakash Honrao, DD of the regional office of FOD, NSSO, Ahmedabad.
