A special event is being held at Rajbhavan in Gandhinagar tomorrow on the occasion of 100^th episode of Mann Ki Baat, a popular program by the Prime Minister on All India Radio. Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat Shri Acharya Devvrat will be the chief guest at the event organised by the Prasar Bharati and will listen to the 100^th episode of Mann Ki Baat along with eminent people from Gujarat who have been mentioned in the program.

18 citizens from Gujarat drawn from different fields who have been mentioned by the Prime Minister in the show will be felicitated during the event. Special invitees from social, cultural, art, industry, health, media, agriculture will also be present on the occasion apart from citizens decorated with Padma Awards.

A special exhibition showcasing the tales of people and their work that has found mention in Mann Ki Baat will also be put by the Central Bureau of Communication. Audio excerpts of the Mann Ki Baat show will be played at the exhibition.

A State of art projection mapping show is also being organised at the Sun temple in Modhera that will elaborate history and heritage of the country. The show will highlight the theme of Mann ki Baat along with the historical and architectural marvel of the monument, in the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.

The popular program on All India Radio, Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat was started on 3rd October, 2014 and is broadcast on last Sunday of every month at 11 AM on entire AIR and DD network. The 30 –Minute program is completing 100 episodes on 30th April 2023. Mann Ki Baat is translated by AIR into 22 Indian languages, 29 dialects and 11 Foreign languages, apart from English.
