Rashtriya Raksha University inaugurates Project AKLVYS (Amrit KaushaL Vikas Yojana - Suraksharth) at Dehradun, Uttarakhand

On 15.03.2023, Rashtriya Raksha University, An institute of National Importance Inaugurated its last training camp of 160 hours of Placement Linked Private Security Guard Training under -Amrit KaushaL Vikas Yojana – Suraksharth (AKLVYS) at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.  The inaugural Ceremony was graced by the presence of Shree Jitendra Kumar Sonkar (Director Youth Welfare);Shree Nimesh Dave( Director I/c,  School of Private  Industrial and Corporate Security management, Rashtriya Raksha University- Main Campus),  Ms. Saumya Dwivedi (Project Officer, Rashtriya Raksha University) Shree Rakesh Chandra  Dimri (Upper Director, Youth Welfare); Shree Ajay Kumar Agarwal (Joint- Director, Youth Welfare); Shree Shakti Singh (Deputy Director, Youth Welfare);  Shree  S. K Jairaj (Deputy Director, Youth Welfare) , Shree Neeraj Gupta (Assistant Commandant, Youth Welfare); Smt. Deepti Joshi( Assistant Director, Youth Welfare and  Trainers from Fire Safety Department, Intelligence Bureau, SDRF, Local Investigation Unit and Police Health Dept.

Youth Welfare and Prantiya Rakshak Dal is the Project Implementing Agency for project. The training is to be conducted at Youth Centre, Aamwala, Derhradun – Uttarakhand . The training will be imparted to 105 training cadets out of which 26 are female candidates. The training candidates have arrived from  districts – Haridwar, Almoda, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital and Dehradun . The duration of the training is 160 hours (20 days) The training candidates will be placed in private security agencies after the successful completion of the course.

Project AKLVYS (Amrit KaushaL Vikas Yojana - Suraksharth) is a pilot outreach project initiated by the Internship & Placement branch of Rashtriya Raksha University. This trainee-centric and placement-linked training initiative is a strategically designed unarmed security training programme that aims to motivate the youths (Primarily from the Rural/Tribal/ Red Corridors of Indian Constituency/ Economically Weaker Section/Deprived Section/Underprivileged Section) with minimum educational qualification of 10th passed aspirants to realign their focus toward national security and make them employable in the security domain. Under the said project Rashtriya Raksha University has already trained 878 candidates in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand
