Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Kavaratti organised Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav pre publicity campaign onboard Marine Vessel from Kavaratti to Androth Island in Lakshadweep.  The programme was organised in connection with the Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme at Androth Island from February 17, 2023.  Around 250 passengers were onboard the Marine Vessel.  Video films on different subjects including India’s Presidentship of G-20 were screened as part of the programme.   M. Smithy, Field Publicity Officer, Palakkad, Dr. Abdul Jaleel, M.Suresh Kumar led the awareness activities.
