Indian Economy has been in the developmental path continuously surpassing the countries which had been ruled us for more than 200 years, said VIT Chancellor Thiru. G.Viswanthan.
Inaugurating the 5–day ‘Unknown Freedom Fighters and Public Welfare Schemes’ Photograph Exhibition at Vellore today, VIT Chancellor Thiru. G.Viswanthan said we are in the 5th place of World’s Largest Economy list in 2022. Everyone should get higher education for ensuring Country’s development. It was because of billions of people who participated and rendered sacrifices in the Indian Independence Battle, we get freedom. Through this kind of Photograph Exhibition, we could recognize our Unknown Freedom Fighters’ contribution towards Freedom Struggle.
If the impact of the country’s developmental aspects to reach everyone, then everyone should be provided with education, particularly higher education, he insisted.
While speaking, Central Bureau of Communication, Tamilnadu and Puducherry Zonal Director Thiru. J. Kamaraj, the Central, State Governments have been providing all necessary basic amenities to everyone. It is their part to make use of the Public Welfare measures.
The Central, State Governments have been implementing various Public welfare schemes. The public has to make use of the opportunities. The Central and State Governments have been providing professional, industrial training to 50 types of crafts. Further, after providing necessary training to them, the Governments have also helped them in getting bank loans. It is the responsibilities of the youth and graduated students to make use of the opportunity. Further the students should equip themselves for their personal development and country as well.
In this programme, 11th std student Jerusha Jasmine who participated in the State level Boxing competition and won Gold medal had been felicitated by issuing an award by VIT Chancellor Thiru. G.Viswanthan. Awards were also given to students who participated in the elocution, essay competition on ‘Unknown Freedom Fighters’. Under Integrated Children Development Project, the mothers of the nutritious children received special awards. Thiru. G. Viswanathan also distributed agricultural equipments under the subsidized agricultural scheme.
Photographs of the greatest leaders who fought for our Indian Independence struggle, their backgrounds and various Central Welfare schemes’ awareness placards had been displayed. School, college students and people who visited this photograph exhibition got to know about the valuable information.
