Status of USOF schemes in Odisha
● Mobile connectivity in LWE affected areas (LWE-I) : 256 Mobile Towers are radiating out of 261 planned. All radiating sites are being upgraded to 4G
● Mobile connectivity in LWE affected areas-Phase2 (LWE-II) : Out of 483 Mobile Towers planned, 51 Mobile Towers have been commissioned covering 51 Security Sites.
● Uncovered villages of Aspirational Districts of 5 States - Under this project 2379 Mobile Towers have been planned covering 3933 Villages.
● Saturation of 4G mobile services - 2,813 Villages
● BharatNet project - Completed in 6,738 GPs out of 6,792 GPs
● Further, BharatNet will now connect all GPs/ Villages in the Country, including about 13 Villages (Other than GPs) of Odisha
● Total Budget Allocation for 2023-24 : 5,183 Cr
