Motorcycle rally organized on the occasion of National Youth Day; spontaneous response of Pune residents
Chairmanship of G - 20 group is a good opportunity for India - Dr. Shailendra Devlankar

Dr. Shailendra Devlankar, a scholar of international affairs, said while speaking in Pune today that there has been a digital revolution in India in the past few years and it is very important for India to hold the presidency of an organization like G- 20.
A grand motorcycle rally was organized today on National Youth day to raise awareness of the G20 infrastructure working group meeting being held in Pune and in the honor of Rajmata Jijau along with Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. The rally was concluded at Savitribai Phule Pune University. On this occasion Mr. Devlankar guided the audience on India's G20 presidency, opportunities, challenges and role of youth.
Mr. Devlankar said that the country has progressed due to the youths of the nation and schemes like Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat are being successful. He said that G20 is the main channel to show India's progress and the presidency of this organization is a great opportunity for India.
In the 21st century, India will become a world superpower and every youth of the country should become an ambassador of this country, for that, Shri Devlankar appealed that the youth should connect their dreams with the development of the country.
The program was introduced by Rajesh Pandey, member of the State Advisory Committee of National Service Scheme, while Pro Vice-Chancellor Sanjiv Sonwane proposed the vote of thanks. The program was attended by Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner Vikas Dhakne, Deputy Commissioner Santosh Warule along with members of the university council.
Earlier this morning, the awareness rally was started by offering garlands to the statue of Rajmata Jijau in the historic Lal Mahal in Pune. Shri Vikram Kumar, Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation, Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Karbhari Kale and other dignitaries were present on this occasion. The youth of the city participated in large numbers in the bike rally.
