In an effort to reach out to Veterans, Veer Naris/ Veer Matas residing in areas under the jurisdiction of Station HQ Kirkee/Aundh an Ex-Servicemen (ESM) rally will be organized at the Bhagat Pavilion at Bombay Engineer Group & Centre, Kirkee on 14 January 2023.

The aim of the rally is to assist the Veterans, Veer Naris/ Veer Matas by providing relevant post retirement beneficial information, facilitate redressal of grievances and overcome documentation anomalies in co-ordination with representatives of various Record Offices, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions) Allahabad, State Govt agencies and Bank Officials. A medical camp will also be established under the aegis of Military Hospital, Kirkee in co-ordination with Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme Cell to provide necessary medical cover to those in need. Refreshment will be provided to all attendees.

This rally is to convey the gratitude to all Veer Naris, Veer Matas, Senior Veterans and Ex-Servicemen for their solemn and selfless service to the Nation, Society and Armed Forces. As the rally is expected to be attended by a large number of Veterans, Veer Naris, Veer Matas, and their dependents, this is also seen as an opportunity for the Army to guide, educate our Veterans and their Next of Kin (NOK) in their day to day problems as well as project the image of Army to local populace. The rally would be a major step towards addressing the day to day problems especially of the Veterans, Veer Naris and their NOKs.
