The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Govt. of India is implementing the various schemes to supplement the efforts of the States/UTs for promotion and development of the animal husbandry, dairying and fisheries sector across the country such as:

1. Rashtriya Gokul Mission,
2. National Programme for Dairy Development,
3. Dairy Processing and Infrastructure Development Fund,
4. Supporting Dairy Cooperatives and Farmer Producer Organizations engaged in dairy activities
5. National Livestock Mission,
6. Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund
7. Livestock Health and Disease Control
8. National Animal Disease Control Programme
9. Livestock Census and Integrated Sample Survey
10. Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana
11. Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund
