To mark the momentous occasion, 75th year of India’s independence, Films Division joins the nation in grand celebration of  Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with unique initiates.

Films Division released a PSA film “Har Ghar Tiranga” (2 Min./ Hindi) in all the theatres in India for a fortnight from 5th to 18th August 2022. With this nationwide release, Films Division has planned to release a special commemorative DVD Set, presenting a bouquet of 18 unique films on freedom struggle and important historic moments to mark India@75 on 15th Aug. 2022.

Continuing the tradition of showcasing online films festivals, Films Division is organizing a 3-day online film Festival "Azadi Ke Rang" from 13th to 15th August 2022 on Films Division website and Youtube channel. A package of total 11 films presenting major milestones of our freedom struggle and freedom fighters will mark the occasion. Further, for the awareness of masses, Films Division is showcasing all the Audio-Visual contents pertaining to Har Ghar Tiranga on it’s LED screen located at Films Division complex at Pedder Road, Mumbai. This is also being popularized through the website and social media handles of Films Division. A selfie-point to generate awareness of Har Ghar Tiranga among the people has been also placed targeting the visitors to National Museum of Indian Cinema at Films Division.

Films Division had also distributed the National Flag of India to encourage all officials/ staff to take the Tiranga at home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence making it truly a mass movement. Cherish Young India –Independent India.
