ASSISTANCE TO JOB SEEKERS

The National Career Service (NCS) project is being implemented by the Government to provide a variety of employment related services like job search and matching, career counselling, vocational guidance, information on skill development courses etc. through a digital platform [www.ncs.gov.in]. The NCS project aims to provide seamless access to Jobseekers and employers, decent employment opportunities to the aspiring youth of the country and to facilitate career development assistance.
The NCS Project also includes setting up of Model Career Centres (MCCs) in collaboration with States/UTs and other institutions to deliver employment related services like registration of Job seekers/employers, providing career counselling / vocational guidance, conducting job fairs, outreach activities etc.
The information on the total number of Job seekers registered State/UT - wise under the NCS scheme during the last three years is at Annexure.
