‘INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY’ was observed on 21.06.2022 in the presence of Shri. R. Ravichandran, IRS, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (TN&PY) at Income Tax Department, ‘Aayakar Bhawan’, No.121, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai.

Around 350 Officers and Officials of the Income Tax Department, Chennai participated in the event. Eminent yoga teacher Dr. Vikram Srinivasan conducted the session.

Income Tax Department (TN & P) have organised similar events in 26 stations all over TN & P charge. The locations were Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Erode, Ooty, Hosur, Pollachi, Vellore, Tiruppur, Krishnagiri, Ramanathapuram, Theni, Virudhunagar, Dindigul, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Namakkal, Dharmapuri, Nagappatinam, Nagercoil, Thiruvarur, Pudukkottai, Karur and Perambalur.
