Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Goa, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in association with Goa Livelihoods Forum and Goa State Rural Livelihood Mission,  is celebrating  ‘World Earth Day’ on April 22, 2022. A workshop on “Wealth from Waste”  and a Magic Programme on “Earth Conservation”,  will be held to commemorate “World Earth Day” celebrations. “Invest in Our Planet” is the theme of this year’s “World Earth Day”. The event will be inaugurated by Smt. Sulakshana Sawant, the President of All Goa SHGs Association.
As part of the pre-event publicity, the FOB has conducted a competition on Nutri Gardens for SHGs in Bicholim taluka. A panel led by Shri Nelson Figueiredo, former Director, Agriculture Department, Govt of Goa visited the Nutri Gardens.
