Plastic industry offered huge employment opportunities for youth and also become entrepreneurs. The plastic industry with recycling plastic products had a great potential for development in all sectors due to less manufacturing and raw material cost said Dr.B. Srinivasulu, Principal Director & Head, Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET).

 

Speaking in a press conference at CIPET-Charlapally today, Dr.B. Srinivasulu said CIPET offering skill development training programs for the benefit of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/WOMEN/EWS/BPL category of unemployed youth so that the youth can utilize these opportunities for improving their skills and profitability placed in the industry. CIPET gained global recognition for its research & development in the niche areas of Polymer Science & Technology and high quality education & skill development in the field of plastics, he added.

 

CIPET also plays a pivotal role in generating employment opportunities especially for unemployed and underemployed youth and promoting entrepreneurs though various skill development training programs, he added.

We provide technical / consultancy services in design, tooling, plastics processing & testing for the benefit of plastics & allied industry. M/s. Power Finance Corporation Ltd., New Delhi (A Govt. of India Undertaking) under their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Scheme has sponsored 7 Skill Development Training programs with 6 months scheduled each in the areas of CNC Milling, CNC Lathe, Tool Room, Blow Moulding. Injection Moulding. Plastic Extrusion & Plastic Processing, targeting 300 unemployed youth in the state of Telangana.CIPET has entered into a MoU with M/s Power Finance Corporation Ltd. (PFC) to train these 300 candidates and provide them employment in the Plastic & allied industries after completing the training program. The training will be provided free of cost including, hostel accommodation, food, uniform, shoe & training kit. 

 

As part of the MOU CIPET shall be providing Skill training Boarding & Hostel facilities,Training kit, Uniform, Safety shoe & Course material on free of cost basis. 

 

M/s. PFC Ltd. has adopted 4 districts i.e Bhupalpally, Khammam, Asifabad & Adilabad Districts and the preference will be given to the beneficiaries of these districts for the said training programs.
