Implementation PM Daksh Yojana

The scheme of ‘Pradhan Mantri Dakshta Aur Kushalta Sampann Hitgrahi’ (PM-DAKSH) has been launched by Department of Social Justice and Empowerment during 2020-21 to impart skill development training to the youth (age between 18-45 years) belonging to Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes/Economically Backward Classes/De-notified Tribes and Safai karamcharis including Waste pickers through online registration at PM-DAKSH portal on pan India basis. The training is free of cost and is implemented through three Corporations viz. National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC), National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC) and National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC) catering to the respective target groups. The main objective of the scheme is to increase the skill levels of the targetted youth by providing for long term and short term skills, followed by settlement in employment/self-employment.

Under PM-DAKSH Yojana the skill development training programmes are implemented as per National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) issued by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) from time to time. The curriculum of the skill development training programme developed and approved by MSDE is followed under PM-DAKSH Yojana.
At present, there is no such proposal.
