India is observing the 75th year of Independence, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements, said Shri Satyendra Prakash, Principal Director General, Bureau of Outreach and Communication, New Delhi.

 He said this Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India this far in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

 

Shri Satyendra Prakash, and the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Shri Vikram Sahay jointly launched LED-enabled digital display vehicles to take forward the message of various flagship programmes of the government including, Covid awareness and vaccinations.

 The mobile vans of digital display campaign, launched on 2nd March 2022 in Vijayawada, as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations by the Regional Outreach Bureau, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada are currently undertaking special awareness campaigns across the State of Andhra Pradesh in East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, SPSR Nellore districts for 10 days, on various welfare programmes being implemented by the Government of India.
