ALLOCATION OF FUNDS UNDER PMKVY 3.0.

Ministry is implementing PradhanMantriKaushalVikasYojana (PMKVY) 3.0 for imparting skill development training to youth across the country including State of Maharashtra. PMKVY 3.0 has two components Centrally Sponsored Centrally Managed (CSCM) being implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Centrally Sponsored State Managed (CSSM) being implemented by State Government / State Skill Development Missions (SSDMs).
Under Central component of PMKVY 3.0, there is no State-wise allocation. Funds are being disbursed to NSDC for the implementation of scheme through training centres across the country covering all States. Under this component, Rs. 156 Cr. have been released to NSDC in Current Financial Year(2021-22).
Under State component of PMKVY 3.0, funds and corresponding physical targets have been allocated State-wise. The State-wise allocation of funds under CSSM-PMKVY 3.0 including for State of Maharashtra, is given at Annexure I.
Ministry promotes establishment of model and aspirational skill centres known as PradhanMantriKaushal Kendra (PMKK) in every district for imparting skill training in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode throughout the country, including State of Maharashtra. As on 15.11.2021, 50 PMKKs have been allocated covering all the 36 districts of State of Maharashtra. Out of allocated PMKKs, 43 PMKKs have been established covering 33 districts. The districts-wise details of established PMKKs for State of Maharashtra is given at Annexure II.
PradhanMantriKaushalVikasYojana (PMKVY) is for all sections of the society including socially and economically disadvantaged groups (SEDGs).
