Pondicherry University recently released its prospectus titled “Towards Excellence” for the Academic Year 2021-2022 containing the programmes offered, eligibility criteria and other details for information of prospective applicants from throughout the world. Professor Gurmeet Singh, Vice Chancellor, PU was the Chief Guest and released the first copy of the prospectus which was received by Shri Rajkumar. S, the Nodal Officer for Andaman Nicobar Islands Centre.

 

On this ceremony after releasing prospectus, Professor Gurmeet Singh, Vice Chancellor said it is gratifying that the Pondicherry University continues to be one of the leading Universities in the World in the rankings particularly on Research activities. PU also ranked among the top 1000 Universities in the QS Word NIRF Central University.

 

Various world class researches are going on in this University. It also gives immense pleasure to record on this colourful event that the Faculty members and Researchers are constantly involved in this.

 

On behalf of Pondicherry University, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Study Centre, two new Courses are introduced from this academic year. Considering the welfare of Tribal students, living in the remote areas, PG Courses like MBA in Management and PG Diploma in Bio Diversity on Animal Taxonomy (sponsored by Zoological Survey of India) are also newly introduced by the University Administration. Apart from this, a new MBA Course is also introduced in the University Karaikal Centre in order to expand and cater Management courses further to the rural students.
