The Regional Level Kala Utsav 2020 is scheduled for two days on 9th and 10th of December, 2020 at Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Chennai.  This will be inaugurated by Dr. (Smt) M. Rajeswari, Deputy Commissioner, KVS Chennai Region. Shri.T.Brahmanandam,  Assistant Commissioner, KVS Chennai Region is the Guest of Honour. They  are being  honoured by Dr.M.Manicksamy venue Principal.

 

On this occasion, various competitions like Vocal Music – classical, Vocal Music traditional, Instrumental Music classical, Instrumental Music traditional, Dance classical, Dance folk, Visual Arts ( 2 Dimensional), Visual Arts ( 3 Dimentional), Indigenous toys and Games are being conducted at the school level and  regional level. The participants selected in the Regional Level will be representing the National Level Competitions.

 

Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students at the secondary stage in the country.
