On Monday three passengers two from Hyderabad,and one  from Vijaywadawho arrived from Riyadh by Indigo flight 6E-8762, were intercepted atexit of customs arrival hall on suspicion of carrying gold. On their personal search2 gold bars, each weighing  tentolas(116 grams)  of 24k purity  were recovered from their trouser pockets. Total 6gold bars weighing 696 gramsvalued Rs. 36.8 lakhs were  recovered and seized under Customs Act 1962.

 Further investigation is under process.
