Consequent upon restricting of State Audit offices in Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory Puducherry, `the office of the Principal Accountant General (General & Social Sector Audit), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry” shall henceforth be named as ‘The Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit –I), Tamil Nadu, Chennai’.

“The Office of the Accountant General (Economic & Revenue Sector Audit) Tamil Nadu” shall henceforth be named as ‘The Office of the Accountant General (Audit –II), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, Chennai”, according to a press release issued by the Senior Deputy Accountant General/Admn., Chennai.
