To alleviate the difficulties being faced by the Trade and Industry due to Covid-19 pandemic, the Chief Commissioner, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Zone has authorized the setting up of a dedicated WhatsApp Number for the taxpayers as an additional channel of communication.

The Taxpayers under the Central Jurisdiction of GST within the State of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry and General Public are requested to avail the facility of WhatsApp for redressal of their Grievances and Queries for quicker resolution without physically visiting their jurisdictional offices.

Whats App message alone will be entertained and calls to the number will be disabled. An Officer in this office will act as single window nodal Officer to obtain response from the Jurisdictional Officer and send reply

All the Trade and Industrial Organizations and their Association may inform the above new initiative of the Department to all their Members and avail this facility.
