The total funds allocated and utilized under the National Programme for Youth and Adolescent Development Scheme (NPYADS) during the last two financial years are as under:

Under the scheme, there is no provision for state-wise allocation of funds.

In the last two financial years, following achievements had been made under the NPYADS:

(i)         Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards were conferred upon four individuals by the Hon’ble President of India on August 29, 2017.

(ii)        5^th North East Youth Festival was organized at Gangtok, Sikkim from 28^th to 30^th October, 2017.

(iii)       22^nd National Youth Festival was organized at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh from 12^th to 16^th January, 2018.

(iv)       National Youth Award 2015-16 was conferred upon 23 individuals and 7 organizations during the opening ceremony of 22^nd National Youth Festival.

(v)        Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards were conferred upon ten individuals by the Hon’ble President of India on 25th September, 2018.

(vi)       6^th North East Youth Festival was organized at Agartala, Tripura from 15^th to 18^th November, 2018.

(vii)      Grants had been released to various NGOs for carrying out youth related activities.
