On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary  celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi, the Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB) under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting is organising a  5 day photo exhibition, from 1ST OCT  to  5th OCT , 2019 titled “Mana Mahatmudu – ”, at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station(  MGBS ) .

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Shri  B.Vara Prasad , Regional Manager MGBS .
  The exhibition showcases rare photos of Gandhiji’s childhood, the Alfred High School in which he studied, Champaran Satyagraha, Gandhiji in Yerawada Jail, Salt Satyagraha, Quit India Movement among others.   Also on display will be photos from 1942-1947 when Gandhiji was at the helm of our Freedom Struggle.  Photos of Gandhiji and Kasturba returning from South Africa are also part or the exhibition.
Cultural programmes by artists are also being organised, as part of the exhibition.
 

Prize distribution for students who have won prizes in various activities conducted by ROB will held at the exhibition venue.
