Monthly Review of Accounts of Union Government of India upto the month of May 2019 for the Financial Year 2019-20.

The Monthly Account of the Union Government of India up to the month of May 2019 has been consolidated and reports published.
The highlights are given below:-
The Government of India has received Rs.1,46,830 crore (7.06% of corresponding BE 19-20 of Total Receipts) upto May 2019 comprising Rs. 1,15,340 crore Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), Rs. 28,423 crore of Non Tax Revenue and Rs.3,067 crore of Non Debt Capital Receipts. Non Debt Capital Receipts consists of Recovery of Loans (Rs.712 crore) and Disinvestment Proceeds (Rs. 2,355 crore).
Rs.99,087 crore has been transferred to State Governments as Devolution of Share of Taxes by Government of India upto this period which is Rs. 12,491 crore lower than the previous year.
Total Expenditure incurred by Government of India is Rs.5,12,987 crore (18.42% of corresponding BE 19-20), out of which Rs.4,65,284 crore is on Revenue Account and Rs.47,703 crore is on Capital Account. Out of the Total Revenue Expenditure, Rs.74,804 crore is on account of Interest Payments and Rs.1,15,059 crore is on account of Major Subsidies.
