M. Nagendra Swamy: New ADG for Press Information Bureau & RNI

 

Shri M.  Nagendraswamy,  Senior Administrative Grade Officer of the Indian Information Service took over the charge of Additional Director General of Press Information Bureau, Regional Outreach Bureau, Karnataka and as Additional Press Register, office of Register of Newspapers for India (RNI) in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Bengaluru on 29^th October, 2018.

 

He was Additional Director General of Press Information Bureau, New Delhi. Earlier, he worked as Director in Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP),   Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) and Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), All India Radio (AIR), Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad & Delhi in various capacities.

 

Shri M. Nagendraswamy had training at Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune and also attended the film appropriation course. He contributed for the organisation and success of International Film Festival of India and documentary festival held at Mumbai. He recently trained in UK and Australia regarding new media technologies.
