            A two days Hot Air Ballooning activity was organised at Headquarters South Western Air Command, Vayu Shaktinagar, Gandhinagar as a part of a series of adventure activities for air warriors.

 

            The activity was inaugurated by Hob’ble Governor Shri OP Kohli, Governor of Gujarat.  The Hon’ble Governor was received by Air Marshal RK Dhir PVSM AVSM VM ADC, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command and Mrs. Neelam Dhir, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional).

    

            The aim of the event was to instill confidence, motivation, togetherness and risk taking capacity in the minds of air warriors, which will contribute to a high degree of team spirit amongst them, improve their level of confidence and is another step towards a healthy body and mind.  About 360 personnel and their families of HQ SWAC attended the two days event.
