CENTRE IS GIVING TOP PRIORITY FOR EDUCATION AND HEALTH: SRI BANDARU DATTATREYA, MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) FOR LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT, GOVERNMENRT OF INDIA

- "Centre has sanctioned 1200 Crores of rupees to Telangana State under National Health Mission"

      Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Union Minister for Labour and Employment, inspected the functioning of Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Wellness Center, Himayathnagar, Hyderabad today. He held detailed discussions with CGHS officials about the functioning of CGHS Wellness Centers in Hyderabad. While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Shri Dattatreya said that the Union Government is giving top priority to Health and Education. He also said that the Centre has allocated Rupees 1200 Crores to Education and Health departments of Telangana State. Rupees 72 Crores was sanctioned to KMC, Warangal. Another Rupees 72 Crores was sanctiioned to RIMS, Adilabad. And the Centre has accepted the proposal of setting up an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Telangana State. The NDA Government is providing financial help for establishing kidney dialysis centers in every district in the country. Keeping in view of the lack of Doctors and the experience of Government Doctors the age of Government Doctors increased to three years. The Minister also said that there are 1.5 Lakh beneficiaries under CGHS in Hyderabad City. There are 4000 persons of beneficiaries under the CGHS Wellness Center, Himayathnagar. He also said that in the larger interest the dispensary will be converted in to poly clinic. About 2 Acres 97 Yards land is under the control of CGHS, Himayathnagar.

The Union Minister has given a clarion call to people to participate in Swachch Bharat Abhiyan and make the City Clean and Green. Local MLA Shri Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, Dr. Vijayabhaskar, Additional Director, CGHS, have also participated in the event.
