Shri P. Karupasamy, Joint Secretary/Regional Director (SR), Staff Selection Commission informed that SSC will conduct Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2017 (Paper I)in Computer Based mode for 44621 candidates in Southern Region.

 

                Shri Karupasamy said that the examination will be held from 01.07.2017 to 05.07.2017 in the State of Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Union Territory of Puducherry and from 03.07.2017 to 05.07.2017 in Andhra Pradesh. The examination will be conducted in 27 Venues (Colleges/Institutions) located at 10-Centres (cities/towns) viz. Guntur, Kurnool, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Vijayawada, and Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh; Hyderabad in Telangana; Chennai and Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu; and Puducherry in Union Territory of Puducherry. The duration of examination is from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon in the Morning Session and from 02.45 PM to 04.45 PM in the Afternoon Session.

 

Southern Regional Office has already posted e-Admit Cards,authorising the candidates to appear for the said examination in its Website (www.sscsr.gov.in), with the facility to download it.These details are also intimated to the candidates by SMS to the phone numbers and e-mail to the mail IDs provided by the candidates while applying for the posts.  

 

Candidates are requested to note that they shall not be permitted to take up the examination without e-Admission Certificate and Original valid Identity Proof.All the candidates are, therefore, requested to download their e-Admission Certificatewithout fail.
