GOA, SEPTEMBER 11:

MY Bharat Goa, operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, organised an Awareness and Mobilisation Programme on the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027 at Goa University today.

The event was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Goa, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, as the Chief Guest. Other key dignitaries present included Prof. Rajendra S. Gad, Vice-Chancellor of Goa University; Prof. S. N. Dhuri, Registrar of Goa University; and Shri G. S. Raghav, Director of MY Bharat Goa.

Addressing the gathering, Hon’ble Governor Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju highlighted Goa’s youth as a vital driving force in shaping the nation's future. Urging students to participate actively in VBYLD 2027, the Governor noted that the initiative provides a premier platform for young minds to showcase innovation, creativity, and leadership toward realizing the vision of a developed India by 2047. He called upon educational institutions across Goa to mentor, motivate, and facilitate student participation, expressing strong confidence in the ability of local talent to excel on the national stage.

Shri G. S. Raghav, Director of MY Bharat Goa, appealed to colleges and youth across the state to enroll in large numbers. He underscored that VBYLD 2027 offers unprecedented access to mentorship, national visibility, and leadership opportunities, enabling youth to transition from passive beneficiaries into proactive drivers of national development.

The session also outlined the multi-tier progression of the Viksit Bharat Challenge, which advances contenders through district and state levels. Top-performing participants will earn the opportunity to represent Goa and present their initiatives at the National VBYLD 2027 summit in New Delhi.
