CBC Nagpur Organises Rangoli and Poster-Making Competitions Ahead of ‘Hindi Diwas–Poshan Maah’ Programme
Students and employees showcase creativity through messages on Hindi, nutrition and healthy living

The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Nagpur, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, in association with the Rajbhasha Department of Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Wardha, organised Rangoli and Poster-Making Competitions today as part of the pre-engagement activities for the ‘Hindi Diwas–Poshan Maah’ programme to be held on September 15. The competitions provided students and employees an opportunity to convey meaningful messages on Hindi, nutrition and healthy living through creative expression.
The Rangoli Competition was organised at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhavan, while the Poster-Making Competition was held at Tulsi Bhavan. Participants used colours, illustrations and Hindi messages to highlight the importance of nutritious food, healthy lifestyles and well-being. The artworks reflected themes such as balanced nutrition, healthy eating habits and the role of awareness in building a healthier society.
The competitions form part of a series of pre-engagement activities being organised by CBC Nagpur ahead of the main ‘Hindi Diwas–Poshan Maah’ programme. Earlier, on September 9, Typing and Essay Writing Competitions were also organised for students and employees, encouraging participation and creative engagement with Hindi.
The main programme will be held on September 15 at 3:00 PM at the Ghalib Auditorium, Tulsi Bhavan. Senior Journalist Anand Nirvan will be the Chief Guest, while Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Wardha, Prof. Kumud Sharma, will preside over the programme. Prizes and certificates will be presented to the winners and participants of the various competitions organised during the activities.
The programme will also feature a cultural performance by the CBC troupe. Discussions and presentations highlighting the importance of Hindi, its role in national unity and cultural expression, along with the significance of nutrition and healthy living, will also form part of the programme.
