Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya Interacts with MY Bharat-NSS Volunteers at Independence Day Celebrations

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya interacted with MY Bharat-NSS volunteers during the Independence Day celebrations at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi, recognising the contribution and active participation of young volunteers in the national celebrations.

MY Bharat-NSS volunteers participated as special guests at the Independence Day programme, providing them an opportunity to witness the celebrations and engage with the Union Minister. Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya interacted with the volunteers and encouraged their continued participation in nation-building and civic engagement.

Addressing the volunteers, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya appreciated their contribution towards social service and encouraged them to actively participate in initiatives aimed at building a Viksit Bharat. He emphasised that the energy, commitment and innovative ideas of young people are essential for achieving the vision of a developed and self-reliant India.

The programme also provided a platform for volunteers to share their experiences, ideas and aspirations. The interaction reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to provide meaningful opportunities for youth participation and leadership in nation-building.

Earlier in the morning as part of the Independence Day celebrations, MY Bharat-NSS volunteers and students from eight schools and educational institutions across Delhi came together to create a large-scale human formation representing ‘Vande Mataram’. Around 500 students participated in the formation, showcasing patriotism, national unity and collective participation.
