The Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai, one of India's premier institutions for science communication and experiential learning, is delighted to invite members of the media to witness and cover the inauguration of its newest attraction  "Adrenalin Sci-Adventure Zone" being launched on the special occasion of International Museum Day.

The newly developed adventure-based science zone, located within the Children's Science Park, offers a unique blend of excitement, physical activity, and scientific exploration. Designed to transform learning into an unforgettable experience, the zone enables visitors, particularly students and young learners, to understand the principles of biomechanics, gravity, balance, momentum, energy transformation, and human motion through direct participation.The initiative reflects the Centre's continued commitment to making science education engaging, accessible, and enjoyable for all age groups.

A Thrilling Journey into Applied Science:

Adrenalin Sci-Adventure Zone combines adventure with scientific discovery, allowing visitors to experience how the human body interacts with physical forces and environmental conditions. Each exhibit has been carefully designed to demonstrate real-world scientific principles while providing an exhilarating hands-on experience.

Featured Attractions - Zone A

1. Zip Line

Experience the exciting conversion of potential energy into kinetic energy as gravity propels participants along the suspended line. Visitors discover the role of friction, aerodynamics, acceleration, and balance while enjoying an unforgettable ride.

2. Zip Bike

Ride a bicycle across a suspended cable and learn the science behind stability, balance, centre of gravity, and mechanical efficiency. The exhibit beautifully demonstrates how human muscular power is transformed into motion.

3. Outdoor Wall Climber

A practical lesson in human biomechanics, leverage, friction, and weight distribution. Participants learn how the body functions as a system of levers while scaling the climbing wall.

Zone B

4. Human Gyro

Step into a multi-axis rotational system and experience sensations similar to those encountered by astronauts and pilots. The exhibit demonstrates angular momentum, rotational motion, spatial orientation, and the functioning of the human vestibular system.

5. 360-Degree Cycle

Can human power overcome gravity? This exciting exhibit challenges participants to pedal through a complete vertical loop while learning about centripetal force, circular motion, energy conservation, and muscular power.

The Adrenalin Sci-Adventure Zone is more than an adventure attraction it is an immersive educational environment where visitors can observe scientific concepts in action. By combining physical activity with scientific understanding, the Centre aims to inspire curiosity, encourage experiential learning, and foster greater interest in science among students and families.
