Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) IndianOil, BPCL and HPCL have assured consumers of uninterrupted availability of Petrol, Diesel and LPG across Goa despite the ongoing geopolitical situation.

During May 2026, PSU retail outlets in Goa witnessed higher fuel sales compared to the previous year. Petrol sales grew by 6.9% in North Goa and 9.4% in South Goa, while Diesel sales increased by 11.6% and 15.0% respectively. The growth is primarily attributed to a shift in purchases from bulk consumers to authorised retail outlets.

OMCs continue to ensure seamless fuel supplies through their nationwide network of terminals, depots, pipelines, LPG bottling plants and retail outlets. Supply teams and logistics operations are functioning round the clock to maintain smooth product movement and timely replenishment.

The Government of India has advised States and Union Territories to take strict action against black marketing, unauthorised stocking and diversion of petroleum products. Consumers are advised to continue normal purchasing behaviour and avoid panic buying.

The PSU oil industry reiterates that adequate stocks of Petrol, Diesel and LPG are available, and requests citizens to rely only on official communications for information regarding fuel availability.
