The prestigious Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 150th Course of the National Defence Academy will be held on 30 May 2026 at the iconic Khetarpal Parade Ground, NDA, Khadakwasla, Pune.

General Upendra Dwivedi, PVSM, AVSM, Chief of the Army Staff, will review the parade as the Reviewing Officer. Approximately 355 cadets of the Army, Navy and Air Force are scheduled to pass out during the grand ceremonial parade of Spring Term – 2026, marking the successful culmination of rigorous military and academic training imparted at the Academy.

Prior to the Passing Out Parade, the Convocation Ceremony of the 150th Course will be conducted on 29 May 2026 at Habibullah Hall, NDA. Dr. Kiran Bedi, IPS (Retd), Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and address the graduating cadets.

The National Defence Academy, under the command of Vice Admiral Anil Jaggi, AVSM, continues to uphold its rich tradition of grooming future military leaders of the nation through comprehensive tri-services training.

Widely regarded as the cradle of military leadership, the National Defence Academy is the country’s premier tri-services training institution and one of the finest military academies in the world. The Academy imparts rigorous military coupled with academic and character-building training to prepare cadets for leadership roles in the Defence Forces.

The Passing Out Parade will feature an impressive military parade, inspection of contingents, presentation of medals and awards, fly-pasts by military aircraft and helicopters, and the traditional ‘Antim Pag’ ceremony by the graduating cadets.

The event is a proud and emotional milestone for cadets, parents, instructors and the Defence Forces fraternity, symbolising the transition of young cadets into future military leaders dedicated to the service of the nation.
