Every citizen living in India is as patriotic as the soldiers of the army. The only difference is that the soldiers have a job where they get a chance to display their patriotism every day.
A common man does not get many opportunities to display patriotism. The 'Kargil Vijay Diwas - Silver Jubilee' multimedia photo exhibition organized by the Central Bureau of Communication is an initiative of the Government of India that provides an opportunity for common citizens to express their patriotism. Retired Air Vice Marshal Suryakant Chafekar (Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Shaurya Chakra) shared his thoughts as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the two-day 'Kargil Vijay Diwas - Silver Jubilee' multimedia photo exhibition organized jointly by the Central Bureau of Communication and VMV Commerce, JMT Arts, and JJP Science College located in Vardhaman Nagar on Friday, July 26. The President of Nagpur Gujarati Mandal, Mr. Yogeshbhai Patel, presided over the ceremony. During this ceremony, Saurabh Khekde, Field Publicity Officer of the Central Bureau of Communication, Field Office Nagpur, and Incharge- Principal of VMV College, Dr. Abhay Mudgal, were prominently present. The program was conducted and the vote of thanks was given by college teacher Dr. Sonali Bhagat. All the teachers, staff, and students of the college were prominently present at this ceremony. After the inauguration ceremony, a painting competition and an oratory competition were organized for the students, in which the students enthusiastically showcased their talents.
Remember ‘Satyamev Jayate’ When in Trouble
Mr. Chafekar shared many interesting and inspirational stories, mentioning his significant contributions during the Kargil War. He said that while the army demonstrated extraordinary courage on the ground in the Kargil War, the Air Force also destroyed Pakistani military ammunition through airstrikes, which helped our army to win the war. Inspiring the students, he said that many occasions in life will bring disappointment, but if you are true, do not fear your goal, you will surely achieve success. Remember ‘Satyamev Jayate’ in every difficulty of life.
