The  Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Ramdas Athawale addressed the media at Dibrugarh, Assam today.

Shri Athawale congratulated the people of Assam on the occasion of 75th Republic Day of India.

 

 

The Minister in the press conference said that the Union Government is working for the development of the country since its formation in 2014. He said that the government strives to strengthen the constitution and the role of the common man is very important in this.

The Minister elaborated about various schemes and initiatives of the Government. He spoke about PM Jan Dhan Yojana, where crores of people have been benefited in the country including Assam. He also spoke about PM Mudra Yojana, PM Awas Yojana and Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

Shri Athawale said that the Union Government is committed to provide employment to the people. The Minister also emphasised that the Union Government is committed for infrastructure development in the country.

 

 

Earlier today the Union Minister unveiled the statue of Freedom Fighter Dalbir Singh Lohar at Silapathar, Dhemaji District, Assam.
