The company has started to undertake strict monitoring and review of projects & activities of all zones, measures for expenditure control etc. resulting over all improvements in operational efficiency. The WAPCOS has diversified its operations into areas like LiDAR Survey, Pumped Storage Projects, Fecal Sludge Management, Inspection-cum-Certification Center for commercial Vehicles, IOT based Quality Monitoring for Jal Jeevan Mission Schemes, Hot line replacement of insulators, Live line maintenance of HVAC & HVDC, Battery energy storage system and energy management system, Condition assessment, Assets Management, AI/ML based technical studies, Eco-restoration of Mines, Agro Processing, Oxy-vans, Smart Metering, development of Airport Infrastructure, Data Analytics etc.
With regard to the Foreign Operations, the company has ventured into new countries namely Botswana, Belize, Central African Republic, Cuba, Gambia, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Nicaragua, Palestine, Republic of Congo, Suriname and Tajikistan, strengthened operations in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Central African Republic, Eswatini, Nepal, Tanzania, Mozambique, Mongolia, Fiji, Liberia, Togo, Uganda, Niger and Zimbabwe. The company has also diversified into new areas of operation in Tanzania, Mozambique and Fiji.
These operational strategies have resulted in increasing revenue generation of the Company in the years 2021-22 & 2022-23.
