The Ministry has been rolling out People’s Plan Campaign as ‘Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas’ since 2018 for preparation of evidence based, holistic and inclusive Plan in structured manner for the next financial year through people’s participation. This year, the campaign is commenced from 2^nd October 2022 for preparation of thematic Gram Panchayat Development Plan for next financial year i.e. 2023-24 through people’s participation. The People’s Plan Campaign is an effective strategy for ensuring preparation of participatory Gram Panchayat Development Plans in a campaign mode with voluntary involvement of community, elected representatives, frontline workers of respective Line Departments, Self Help Groups, and other related stakeholders.

For the Plan year 2022-23, total 30 States/ UTs have prepared Gram Panchayat Development Plan during People’s Plan Campaign during 2021-22.
